- [Small Linux Wiki] A Wiki dedicated to information about Small Linux and other tiny Linux issues.
- [TEJO-Vikio] community and info for the World Esperanto Youth Organization.
- [TheologyWiki] - rational theology. (The hostname could not be resolved).
- [Tree Trust for Haringey] Tree Trust (Haringey, London, UK). UseModWiki contains most of the content including buttons and images. These are displayed embedded in frames / iframes for the website. We reckon it's a pretty good result! Feel free to ask us if you'd like more info. We will probably move to ExpressionEngine, to make it a bit easier for non-web users to update, but having got the present website working, it's a pretty good solution. It uses the wiki 'database' to hold the pages, and the wiki CSS to format the display.

- [Edu-Coop Wiki] -- A place to discuss patterns in public education. (The hostname could not be resolved).
- [WH2001] -- Hacklab in Madrid (Spain) where the people meet with the open tecnologies. (The hostname could not be resolved).
- [NoLamberhurstBypass] -- site to discuss opposition to proposed new road in Kent, England. (The hostname could not be resolved).
- [S23Wiki] Wiki of the S23-Community / SETI23 seti@home team. Discordian, SETI, Disinfo ,Hacker, Illuminati, Fnord.
- [Susning.nu] -- A Swedish language, public, general-purpose wiki started by Lars Aronsson on October 1, 2001. The software is Usemod 0.92, modified to support inline maps from Mapblast, Swedish ISBN links, links to Linux man pages, "one-click search" links to Google and Wikipedia, and more.
- [Trident Ploughshares Legal Wiki] -- Discussions on legal topics by and for peace campaigners.
- [Tree Trust for Haringey] -- Information on trees in the Borough of Haringey in north London.
- [Ypsilanti Eyeball] An experimental Wiki server designed to serve the community needs of Ypsilanti Michigan, but not restricted to that geographic area. --KirkKitchen. (This is a server side problem).
- [KayakWiki] -- Site to gather knowledge about kayaks and kayaking (Started 12/29/01).
- [Reality Sculptors] -- Wiki space surrounding projects in disaster relief, housing the homeless, feeding the hungry, and generally trying to make the world work. :-) Also, home of the Online Edition of [The Whole Future Catalog].
- [tcsh.org] -- Site supporting the tcsh UNIX shell.
- [Unreal Wiki] aims to bring together scatterered information about the engine that powers the Unreal series of computer games. Started 27/1/02. We may try and find a better name that makes a nice acronym eventually ;-).
- [Plus-Linux.DE] -- (German) The channel homepage of the IRCnet channel +linux.de (using a [small patch]) (This is a ForbiddenLink).
- [AIWiki] - Wiki about all facets of Artificial Intelligence and related topics.
- [Drogenwiki.de] -- (German) An online platform about drugs (using a [small patch], including a disclaimer!) (This is a DeadLink).
- [infoAnarchy wiki] - Wiki about file sharing, copyright, cyber liberties, and similar topics discussed on [infoAnarchy]. Uses a slightly modified version of UseMod in a "Free Links" only configuration, running under mod_perl. (This is a DeadLink).
- [Letterboxing Nebraska Wiki Web Site] - BrokenLink as of 2006-06 - Wiki for resources, listing, logging, and discussing the game of letterboxing in and around Nebraska. (This is a server side problem).
- [MikkoWiki] - BrokenLink as of 2006-06 - Somewhere in between free-associative personal diary and a public Wiki. In Finnish.
- [AnCapWiki] - dedicated to the creation, in our lifetimes, of anarcho-capitalist societies around the world.
- [NeuroWiki] - Wiki about neuroscience in general, with a particular focus on computational neuroscience.
- [ApacheWiki] - BrokenLink as of 2006-06 - experimental Wiki for the ApacheSoftwareFoundation? (The hostname could not be resolved).
- [MuttWiki] - Wiki for the mail user agent.
- [alt.lordrich.com] - the editable version of [lordrich.com].
- [RoboWiki] - A wiki about everything Robocode. For beginners and experts alike. -- PEZ.
- [SL4.org] - a Wiki for the Shock Level 4 mailing list, where Singularity-aware people meet to discuss topics that interest them.
- [Banty Chicken Wiki: Banty Chickens] ~ About banty chickens. Was a normal UseModWiki until I found [cwick - collaboration server: CWICK], which is a modification including some other additional stuff. Plus I used parts of the login patch found here at UseMod. Works with my old UseModWiki database just fine :).
- [HantsLUG] - Wiki site for Hampshire Linux Users Group, England. The wiki passed muster and has been adopted in place of the previous static site.
- [Antioch Forever] - A forum community. The wiki has been modified to use SQLite databases for its page store, share user accounts with phpBB 3, use a template system, and look prettier ([source code]).
- [www.handgranat.org] An anarchist wiki in swedish.
- [scrumwiki.org] usemod 1.0 with some extra features bolted on to make it useful to anyone using the Scrum project management process. (This is a ForbiddenLink).
- [Visual Design Tutorial] - I set this up as a wiki to use during a lecture, and as a resource for a third-level course on technology in education.
- [umbraculum.org] - Wiki for personal usage; notes, information etc.
- [ApocalypseKÖZÖS] Community site about martial arts, movies, life, universe and everything, in Hungarian. (This is a server side problem).
- [BiMu Wiki] A wiki with modified UseModWiki 0.92 for Bisamberg Music festival, Vienna, Austria, in German.
- [DikuClans Carrion Fields Maps Page] A wiki with an active community decidated to gathering maps and infomation about the vast worlds of the [Carrion Fields] mud. (This is a server side problem).
- [Nuevo Mundo] and [1001 Rollenspielwelt], (The hostname could not be resolved) - public websites of our role-play game groups (both in german).
- [Old English Wiki] a wiki for studying Old English.
- [RPG Wiki] a wiki for my RPG games.
- [PalmWiki] A german wiki about PalmOS? powered Handhelds. (The hostname could not be resolved).
- [Prepaid] A german Blog about Prepaid, Technique and Internet.
- [VOLVO-OFF] is the internet club of Volvo and Saab owners from Poland. Wiki idea and UseModWiki implementation is an excellent way to power up such kind of website. We are creating now, Volvo knowlegde base, with different kind of information, from technical to our community specific.

3. Private sites

- EBI's Microarray Informatics's intranet makes use of UseModWiki for varied collaborative work within the group.
- Bomis.Com has a private UseMod wiki that we are using to help organize the work of our developer team. It's a nice unstructured tool for us to communicate and build up our collective knowledgebase.
- UseMod powers a private QA manual for the staff of [Luxpar].
- HyText Consulting (JerryMuelver) is developing a private intranet wiki behind a client's firewall for content-management and collaborative authoring. The wiki is the main tool to get client's employees to use web technology on a daily basis, preparatory to launching into a databased CMS and customer-service web structure.

- [OnTime] SaaS? Agile Project Management Software provider uses UseMod inside the company.
- Taylor-White, LLC (http://www.taylorwhite.com) is using UseModWiki for an intranet knowledge base in the IT department. Platform is Apache 1.3.6 with perl 5.005_03 and mod_perl 1.21 on HP-UX 11.0 --BobShowalter
- We're using UseModWiki on an intranet site. Our Java development team is collaborating on our Wiki to document the conversion of our HR Web Portal to J2EE. Our customer support group logs all the solutions to our problem calls on this Wiki as well. We're running 0.91 on an NT4 box with IBM's httpd server (Apache). It works just swell! -- BradAdkins

- The staff @ [Lands Of Stone] are using UseModWiki to coordinate activities within the game and communicate about important changes to the game engine and databases.

- Using a reasonably plain jane UseModWiki for fact collection and trouble-ticket tracking in software project management for a Michigan biotech company. It really works well when you figure out how to populate it and structure the information and links. I also use it for my own consulting business for the same purpose more-or-less. I have a half dozen separate Wiki databases set up on various servers. --KirkKitchen
- I've installed UseModWiki in at least four different places on my web server. One to allow my friend and his friend to have a private discussion about philosophy and such, one to allow them, myself, and another friend to have a different discussion about philosophy, one as a wiki I run publicly, but exists mostly for myself, and one for my friend and me to collaborate on a book we want to write. - We're using UseModWiki as a knowledge mgmt tool to support external web development at [AARP].
- There are at least three UseModWikis (and a few others too) on the IBM intranet. - I've just started with UseModWiki in a public education setting. I'm using one as an intranet for teacher collaboration in the science, technology education, family & consumer science, and computer science departments. Another is used for collaboration and on-line training for a group of teachers who received Palm hand-held computers for classroom use. - I've installed UseModWiki on our intranet at the [AI Lab Zurich], Switzerland. Most changes I've done to the code are documented here. I am running the same script also for a small group building up the newly founded "Swiss MD-PHD Association". - I have installed a whole WikiFarm? consisting of UseModWiki s. They cover different aspects of my work and private interests. It is great to use as a personal notebook shared with my friends. Thank you for this nice program!.
- I've installed a UseModWiki on a testbed server at Dartmouth College, for use by my Administrative Computing project team. I'm am totally NOT a Perl programmer, Linux user, but this installed very easily! My congratulations!.
